Information for Speakers

The registration is now open and the deadline for submitting abstracts is the 22nd of April 2022. Abstracts can be submitted on the following Google form. We particularly encourage talk submissions from graduate students and early-career scientists. Questions and discussions among participants will be encouraged on a dedicated GTC-VII Slack channel and talks will be recorded and posted on a YouTube channel that will be shared in a separate email ahead of the meeting.

The primary focus of this meeting is to explore the exciting science being done using the GTC instruments, as well as the future generations of GTC instruments currently being developed. Key topics will include invited and contributed talks by experts on:

  • Galaxies and Cosmology
  • Stars and Stellar Populations
  • ISM & Star formation
  • Exoplanets and Brown Dwarfs
  • Solar System
  • Current and Future Instrumentation
